I recently left a job with a really, really bad boss. It was a chore to get out of bed in the mornings. I woke up on Sundays with a sense of dread because I had to go to work on Monday. I didn't realize how much the constant hostility seeped into my personal life until I left. It is like night and day - now I'm in daylight, I don't ever want to go back. The money wasn't worth it.
